How the partnership works
Alabama, Connecticut, Washington DC, Michigan, New Mexico & South Carolina:
IPFS, in conjunction with Intrust Bank, N.A., (“Intrust”) offers this program to IPFS Customers that wish to provide premium finance solutions to their commercial insureds in these states. The premium finance agreement (PFA) identifies Intrust Bank, N.A. as the lender, and displays the Intrust name at the top right of the PFA. Once the PFA is accepted by IPFS, IPFS will purchase the receivable from Intrust and in turn Intrust will pay income to AssuredPartners. These accounts are funded by Intrust via ACH (only). Your local IPFS office can supply you with the form required to setup the Intrust Bank Program.
Massachusetts, Nevada, & New York:
These states allow agents to finance their own receivables without first obtaining a premium finance license. In MA & NV, the premium finance agreement (PFA) identifies AssuredPartners as the lender and displays the AssuredPartners name at the top right of the PFA. Once the PFA is accepted by IPFS, IPFS will purchase the receivable from AssuredPartners and pay purchase price income to AssuredPartners. IPFS of New York, LLC will generate on the NY PFA with representations that the Agent sold and assigned the PFA to IPFS of NY.
